Dt. "Bezahlte Positionierung". Aufnahme in die Ergebnisseiten einer Suchmaschine ähnlich wie beim Paid Placement. Im Unterschied zum Paid Placement werden die Paid Ranking-Suchergebnisse nicht deutlich gekennzeichnet, so dass diese kaum oder gar nicht von den normalen Suchergebnissen zu unterscheiden sind.
